The Sparco MATRIX represents the latest evolution of Sparco fiberglass racing seats. Thanks to the latest GRP lightweight materials with an optimized honeycomb matrix, this racing shell meets the strict guidelines of the new FIA Standard 8855-2021 for "Advanced Racing Seats". The closed shell shape with integrated head protector ensures maximum safety and comfort. Shoulder bolsters and seat are covered with non-slip material. Laterally raised flanks for optimal lateral support.
The homologation is only valid in connection with a specific lateral attachment (order no. 3178).
Side attachment not included.

Basically, every FIA-homologated seat is also approved for the use of a HANS® system. The only important thing is that the seat allows the correct attachment of the belts that hold the HANS® system. The large belt openings serve this purpose, which also allow optimal positioning for drivers of different sizes. Newer seat models also have slight recesses that are usually only visible from behind. These primarily serve to increase comfort and ensure that the HANS® system does not press, even when sitting very upright.
