Seat side mounts
Sports seats are divided into two types based on their mounting style:
Bottom mounting: The type of mounting characteristic especially for tubular frame seats is bottom mounting. For these seats, it is sufficient to purchase brackets for bottom-mounted seats, or optionally, modules for their smooth adjustment.
Side mounting: Seats with frames made of carbon or high-strength fibers usually feature side mounting. These seats are secured using brackets for side mounting. These brackets are installed directly into the car floor, or optionally, bottom brackets can be purchased to go under the side brackets. This combination is usually possible without modifications.
