Zajištění volantu je zcela bezpečné díky preciznímu jištění inspirovaného u závodních vozů. Odpojovač se nemůže samovolně odemknout. Oproti předchozím generacím odpojovačů volantu NRG má Generation 3.0 ergonomičtěji tvarovaný zamykací kroužek a zvýrazněné úchopy.
