It took two long years to develop the Racingline OEM+ control unit modification for MQB EVO platform cars with EA888 Gen4 engines. The modification now comes simultaneously for Garrett turbocharged cars, which have a stock output of 245 hp, and Continental turbocharged models, which boast a factory output of 300-320 hp. Typically, these are cars such as the Volkswagen Golf 8, Cupra Leon, Cupra Formentor, Skoda Octavia 4, Volkswagen Tiguan, Audi A3, Ausi S3 and others.
For development and testing purposes, Racingline secured one of the first Volkswagen Golf 8 GTI cars to appear among customers. It was soon followed by the Audi S3 and the Volkswagen Golf 8 R. Development and testing then took place not only on the engine brake itself, but also on the race track and in normal traffic. Final beta testing then took place on a wide range of cars across world markets. And now the control unit software modification is finally available for you too.
