With the most modern cars, we increasingly find that their control unit is locked and does not allow standard software modification to increase performance and adapt to the modified hardware. A number of current VW/Audi models with TSI and TDI engines are among the cars locked in this way.
British tuner Racingline came up with a Plug&Play solution for these cars in the form of a PCM control unit module. This module communicates with the factory control unit and is connected to a number of engine sensors. Its software is precisely designed for a specific model and the modification has undergone more than 12 months of rigorous testing before being launched on the market. The Racingline PCM module itself is hidden in an elegant aluminum body including the battery holder and supplied with complete wiring for easy installation.
The use of the Racingline PCM module results in an increase of up to 40 hp / 60 Nm for the 2.0 TSI engines and up to 26 hp / 57 Nm for the 2.0 TDI engines. Exactly according to the Racingline philosophy, the performance of the car is completely linear without unwanted dips. In the same way, the life of the engine is not negatively affected.
In addition, your journey to higher performance does not have to end with the Racingline PCM module. Racingline still expects to be able to unlock the EA888.4 and EA288 ECUs and offer traditional software for them as part of their OEM+ program. The upgrade from PCM to classic software will then be free at Racingline.
