The principle of tuning is to stand out from the majority of other cars on the road, and for most of you, the first idea that comes to mind is adding some kind of spoiler or even a full set of spoilers (body kit). But how do you choose the right one when the current selection is so extensive? We will help you with that in this article, exploring it from several perspectives. To keep things from becoming too complicated, we will temporarily omit more extensive modifications such as complete bumpers or so-called wide-body kits, and focus solely on auxiliary spoilers that are mounted by adding them to the existing body or, at most, replacing some of its smaller parts (for example, rear bumper diffusers).

Yes, it may seem pointless, but trust us, you should definitely start by making sure you know all the details about your vehicle. Of course, there are universal spoilers available on the market, but honestly... they will never look or fit on your car as well as spoilers designed specifically for that model. These only make sense if nothing else is available for your car. However, we will focus on spoilers made for a particular car model. From experience, we must say that car manufacturers (and we) do not really help in this regard. With all those R-line, AMG-line, N-line, S-line, M-package, Performance, Aero, and many other special versions that differ from the standard body. Sometimes in details, but always different, and this difference often matters in whether a spoiler will fit or not. But don’t worry, because our team strives to verify each request and order for spoilers to minimize the risk of disappointment after delivery, when the part may not fit correctly. When searching for spoilers for your car, it's definitely essential to know all the necessary information, such as the exact year of manufacture (whether it’s a facelift or not), whether it's a non-standard exterior version, if the car has a towing hook, etc.

Do you own a Porsche Cayman GT4 that you race on tracks? Or a modified Audi on big wheels and air suspension? Then it can be expected that each of you will approach the selection of spoilers quite differently. While the first of you will look primarily at function, will crave CFD air flow simulations, downforce values, and will want to be sure that the part does not negatively affect lap times on the North Loop, the second one is lucky not to have to deal with such things and can focus exclusively on design. The group you belong to also relates to another aspect when choosing spoilers...

It might not always be pleasant, but that's the way it is. Even if we would all probably like to see a lot of cars speeding on the roads with world-class body kits made of top materials and with elaborate aerodynamics, it's clear that it's about as realistic as all of us driving a Rolls Royce. And yes, as you probably correctly guess from the previous paragraph, a perfectly aerodynamically tuned spoiler or diffuser with perfectly calculated downforce, made from the most advanced materials and often by a renowned tuner, will be at least an order of magnitude more expensive. It has to be this way so that the manufacturer can guarantee that the part will withstand extreme stress, vibrations, temperatures, etc.
On the other hand, if you want to make yourself happy and impress your signature onto a car that spends all its time on a regular road, there's really no need to worry about downforce or how the part will behave at speeds above . And in such a case, you are often able to modify the car with a complete set of spoilers whose price tag easily fits into a budget of even . However, this leads to another topic...
In fact, we're returning to the first sentence - the principle is to stand out. And if you own a common car model and choose the most affordable set of spoilers for it, then you need to reckon with the fact that you probably won't be alone on the road and you'll encounter more similarly modified cars. If you want to avoid this and are lucky enough that several tuners have focused on your car model, just reach for parts that are more exceptional - due to limited production, origin, brand, price, or (and often primarily) material...

Currently, plastic (most often ABS) is certainly the most widespread material. The days of fiberglass are over, and we encounter it only rarely now—mainly on parts from the USA or Japan, where it is a cheaper alternative to carbon parts. However, plastic has proven to be the best for mass production. If the manufacturer has the necessary technology, the result is usually a very well-fitting part at a relatively low price, which is also mechanically more durable than fiberglass, and as a bonus, it can be made in an attractive glossy finish right at the production output.

However, if you want something extra, you will definitely choose parts made of carbon (of course, if they are available for your car). Carbon found its way into the street car sphere from race cars and the aerospace industry, but today we encounter it very often even in the series production of car manufacturers—especially in connection with the sports models of the brands. But we will stick to the so-called aftermarket, i.e., parts that come from somewhere other than car manufacturers. And so that everything is not just 'sunshine and roses,' as they say, it needs to be mentioned that everything popular and in demand is copied and also often faked in various ways. Sometimes a part looks like carbon but is actually just fiberglass or another material coated with carbon. Other times, it is identical in shape to your dream part but actually lacks its properties, strength, etc. How to combat this and be sure? Only by buying these parts from a verified source.

Depending on how you answered the topics above, you can now quite confidently aim for selected brands and products in our offer.
MAXTON DESIGN - currently the unequivocally most popular brand, which mainly offers plastic spoilers for an incredible and constantly growing number of car models. They stand out for their low price while fitting the car very well. For popular models, there is even a choice of several design versions.
RIEGER TUNING - a traditional German manufacturer of plastic spoilers. Compared to Maxton Design, it has a narrower range, but you also won't encounter it as often on the streets, which can be a good argument.
VORSTEINER - an American manufacturer that focuses almost exclusively on carbon spoilers. It primarily targets supercars like Lamborghini, Ferrari, or McLaren, but they also excel with models like BMW M-series, where it works well as a premium yet more exotic alternative to original M Performance accessories. Despite the fact that carbon parts often struggle with less precise fitment compared to plastic ones, our experience shows that Vorsteiner parts fit incredibly precisely.
ADRO - a currently much-discussed manufacturer originating from Korea. The ADRO team includes top designers and engineers who have worked on Formula 1 cars, so it is no surprise that their products have quickly found their admirers. Thanks to perfectly mastered aerodynamics and experience with functional design, they can afford to create body kits even for capable cars like the Porsche GT3.
VERUS ENGINEERING - some might say that design takes a backseat here, but the opposite is true. There is beauty in function, and function literally screams from Verus parts. It is evident from their spoilers that they are ready to withstand brutal treatment on any track, and a car with them immediately looks like it accidentally drove off the racetrack. If you are unsure about choosing spoilers for your car, our team is, of course, ready to advise you so that the result meets your expectations and gives the car a completely new, more aggressive look.
