Escape6 Meet 2026

The 11th annual Escape6 Meet took place this past Saturday, June 20th, traditionally held in the outdoor parking lot of the Letňany Shopping Center. The weather forecast warned of truly tropical temperatures, and in this regard, it delivered completely. However, if there were any concerns that the extreme heat might deter people, those thoughts quickly evaporated first thing in the morning. On the contrary, modified cars were filling up the parking lot faster than usual, and it soon became clear that we would experience a full house during peak hours once again.

In reality, worrying about high temperatures at the Escape6 Meet is unnecessary. Not only is the entire parking area lined with small trees and shelters that provide pleasant shade, but the complete facilities of OC Letňany—with whose support the entire event is held—are also fully available. You could easily alternate between watching the stage action, checking out the displayed cars, and cooling off in the air-conditioned indoor spaces, perhaps enjoying an iced coffee or ice cream. Additionally, the traditional "24 hodin pro Kuře" RC model race was taking place inside OC Letňany on both Saturday and Sunday, supporting the "Pomozte dětem" (Help the Children) foundation. Thanks to this, even the extreme temperatures were much more bearable and didn't stop us from thoroughly enjoying the whole day!

The gates opened at 8:00 AM, by which time we already had a giant covered stage with an LED screen, vendor booths, and a chill zone equipped with fans and chilled energy drinks from Monster Energy—our long-term partner that accompanies us at all the events we prepare for you. As mentioned earlier, this year the parking area filled up significantly faster than in previous years. It makes sense, as many of you wanted to grab the best spots and, most importantly, prep your cars before the tropical heat hit full force. After all, spraying detailer onto a scorching hot car body where it evaporates instantly is far from ideal.

Compared to other meets, however, Escape6 Meet has two unique, interconnected features. First and foremost, entry to the event is completely free. This means visitors don't feel like they are missing out on anything by arriving late or leaving early. As a result, the lineup of cars changes throughout the day, making the meet much more diverse. Some cars arrived in the morning and weren't around by the afternoon. Others, conversely, surprised you in the afternoon—even if you had walked the parking lot several times already, suddenly a beautiful car you hadn't seen yet that day was standing right in front of you. Ultimately, this also means that the Escape6 Meet is regularly visited by more cars in total than the parking lot's capacity could hold at any single moment. The cruising, parking, and arrivals themselves are also a popular attraction, allowing everyone to enjoy the sound tracks of the modified cars. Visitors could put that to use during our "Best of Pops" competition for the loudest exhaust backfire trophy.

And speaking of trophies and awards, we prepared a total of 15 for you this year! And all of them were from our own original production. Without any prior registration, all visitors competed in the following categories:

• TOP 5 – awards for the 5 most beautiful / best modified cars of the meet

• Best of Detailing – Meguiar's awards for the 3 best prepared and detailed cars of the meet

• Best of Pops – award for the loudest exhaust backfire

• Wild Card – 3 wild cards awarded to their favorites by Luděk, David, and Marek

Another three trophies were taken home by the winners of our online "Best Build" competition, which made its premiere this year. Judging by the feedback, you really liked this competition, so it is safe to assume we will fine-tune it a bit and give you the chance to compete in the online world in the future as well.

But before we handed out all these trophies, we had a lot of fun. We met many of you on stage to introduce your modified cars in more detail. To lead by example, we started by presenting our own Escape6 showcars, which often feature far more modifications than meets the eye. We played selected videos from our YouTube channel on the LED screen, showcasing the latest changes we've made to our cars. We announced the winners of the premiere "Best Build" competition, and immediately afterward, we put everyone's eardrums to the ultimate test during a literal battle for the "Best of Pops" trophy. For the very first time, the trophy was shared by two winners. This was because their performance was identical down to the decibel—and no wonder, as both came to represent the same workshop. It’s worth noting that for Zdeněk and his Audi S3, this is his third trophy in a row in this competition, but it's clear that serious competition is brewing among the challengers, so we are excited for next year.

Overall, we are thrilled that the Escape6 Meet maintains its relaxed, laid-back atmosphere and the high standard of the visitors' cars (some were truly exceptional). We can confidently say it is the best mall parking lot meet you can visit in the Czech Republic. We love that there is something for everyone, whether you are into European cars on air suspension, classic American muscle, or timeless Japanese cars, which—just like in previous years—claimed the dead-end side street for themselves.
